Hard skin, also known as callus is a very common foot complaint. This generally occurs on parts of the foot susceptible to excessive pressures. This build up is often painful. Callus can be removed easily by a podiatrist, leaving the feet much more comfortable afterwards.

Common areas for callus are under the ball of the foot, and on the ends of toes.
